ARMY

hello people! I'm back!!! sorry for leaving my blog unattended for a while, i was super duper busy with all kinds of activities and i just came back from a campus camp organised by Acts church! =)

the theme of Acts campus camp was ARMY.
As stated in the theme, the camp was to raise a new generation of God's army. Sermons given by Pastor Kenneth, Pastor Sandra and Pastor David were really inspiring and encouraging, many lives were touched and many rededications were made. Although they were really straight forward with their messages, implying to us that being a soldier was definitely not an easy task, i was awaken by the thought that it's time to stand up. Like a soldier, we must be courageous, strong, obedient, passionate and disciplined to win the war.

Yes, it's not easy to be a Christian who is a true Christian. Are we willing to stand up for people, bless people in any way we can, give out our all to God, give up and let go of things of the world and tell people about Jesus? While doing all these out of good will, some might still think that Christians are hypocrits and "converters". This is when the challenges and obstacles step in to stop us from going forward. I've learnt that we must not be afraid of what other people think as long as we're doing the right thing. Christians are not converters, we're soldiers who are passionate about God and are willing to tell people about Jesus. Because we've experienced such joy in the presence of God, we don't want to keep this blessing to ourselves, this is the reason we tell people. If not, why even bother talking about it? Whether they choose to believe or not, it's their choice =) we just have to play a part to be somebody different and to bless lives around us.

We must understand that we might call ourselves Christians, but our actions reflects who we are. do we act like one? or Christianity is just something we write on the paper which we refer as a religion? i believe that God do not need more people who call themselves Christians only, who do not have a personal realtionship with Him. However, He is looking for soldiers who would walk out of their comfort zone to change the world, to make the world a better place.

would you put on your armour now? =) it's time to march down the battlefield.

make a difference now. if not now, when?
