metamorphosis

this morning, my friends and i talked about failure and missing chances.

did badly in your exam?
missed a great opportunity to get a great offer?
weren't the chosen one?

yea..all these make us sigh our days away, hoping that maybe we were better, that we were the LUCKY one.

i believe, life doesn't depend on luck. it depends on fate =)
God has a plan for all, when you lose something, God has something better in store.
It doesn't mean that it's the end after you lose something, because you will come to realize that by losing something, you gain something in return, something better =)

so don't hold on to every loss, don't look back to your failure, because only by looking forward, you can breath a new breath.

look at the caterpillar. they need to spend about 14 days in the cocoon.

during the period of 14 days, they could have done something better, maybe eat more leaves, build a home, mate to have more offsprings =P

but no, those 14 days are needed so that something more beautiful can happen.

so that the caterpillar can turn into a beautiful butterfly.

in a way, life is like that too. you need to let go, you need a break, you need to rest, you need to sacrifice, then you'll see the beautiful things unfolding right before your eyes

If you don't let go, you can never have space to accept more blessings or to start a new beginning.

metamorphosis, it's a new breath

however, before you breath, you have to sacrifice 14 days

it's definitely worth it =)

  1. It is indeed a very difficult situation to accept. However, missed chances and failures sometimes is a result of one's mistake. Shall we then conclude that it is fate that made us make such mistakes? If so, everything comes under fate and no one will work hard for anything.

  2. ernie: i can't believe you put your name as butterfly! ahaha. you wrote a good one indeed!
jon: i did not say that fate made us made such mistakes, it's just that sometimes when we fail, we have to look from a different perspective that failure actually helps us to gain something in return instead of complaining about it. and sometimes, God let us fail or fall down so that we learn our lessons =)
