zero to hero

I went for a camp last Wednesday, it's called the HEROES camp. As most of you know, heroes is a tv series about heroes saving the world. In the camp, the main thing we were learning was to become real heroes. No, we don't need super powers, we don't need extraordinary abilities or talent because heroes in the real world are the most ordinary people. However, when God use us as heroes, He can work great things through us.

The greatest heroes that ever existed is Jesus. He saved the whole world by sacrificing himself. Something that really strucked me was that Jesus asked God to forgive the people who just crucified him when he was suffering on the cross. The pain he went through was so devastating, he never complained, he never gave up, he carried everything on his shoulders. And now, we must be heroes for God, to save the world out there.

Heroes do the right thing, a hero will never keep quiet when something wrong is going on, not everyone wants to be a hero so that they could protect themselves. But we as God's children, must be true heroes, that means sacrificing and trusting God for His plan like Jesus did.

On the 2nd night, we were told of the story of Jesus's crucifixion again, we have heard of the story a thousand times, but everyone was so touched. No word could describe the pain Jesus went through, we were reminded how much how much our Father in heaven loves us.

The camp is like learning kung fu on the mountain, after you learned everything, it's time to go down the mountain to save the world.

i'm not alone. i have hero friends out there somewhere else too,we are ready to be true heroes. this time, no turning back! =)
